Masters Degree Programme in Teaching and Learning
The Masters Degree Programme in Teaching and Learning is a two-year masters degree course based at the Vasa campus of Ċbo Akademi University. This programme leads to a Finnish Teachers Certificate, one of several requirements needed to qualify as a teacher in Finland.
Programme Description
The programme prepares and enables students to become fully capable of independently analyzing and solving problems in education and teaching, whilst developing their skills through research. Taking a largely research-based approach, studies in this course are combined with research in some way. With an emphasis on didactics, this programme aims to provide students with the pedagogical capabilities required for teaching assignments in primary and secondary education.

The master graduates are eligible to apply for a position in the Universitys Graduate School as well as other doctoral programmes within Finnish Higher Education Institutions.
