Communication and Information Studies

The Master's programme in Communication and Information Studies is designed to study the effects of communication by organisations and companies. This programme has two specialisations, each with its own perspective on professional communication.


Specialisations

  • Communication and Persuasion: This specialisation focuses on how organisations can use communication to influence people's attitudes or behaviour. It explores how organisations tailor messages to their target groups and how communication can be used to influence an audience's behaviour and opinions.
  • Global Communication and Diversity: This specialisation focuses on how organisations can adapt their communication to diverse, international audiences and how communication can promote inclusivity. It provides students with the knowledge and skills to investigate such questions.

Pre-Master's Programmes

  • Pre-Master's Communication and Persuasion: This pre-Master's programme is designed for students who are not directly admissible to the Master's specialisation in Communication and Persuasion. It introduces students to the world of communication and persuasion.
  • Pre-Master's Global Communication and Diversity: This pre-Master's programme is designed for students who are not directly admissible to the Master's specialisation in Global Communication and Diversity. It acquaints students with the world of global communication and diversity.
