Introduction to the Building Sciences Program
The Bachelor of Science in Building Sciences - Construction Management at Appalachian State University is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to lead a variety of construction projects. The program covers a range of topics, including building systems, materials and methods of construction, planning and scheduling, cost estimating, statics and strength of structures, surveying, project management, building codes, occupational safety, and sustainable architectural design.
