Health Sciences (BS)
Overview
App States interdisciplinary Bachelor of Science (BS) in Health Sciences program is designed for individuals who have earned an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree from a North Carolina community college. It allows students to complete their bachelors degree in as little as two years and prepare for careers in health care administration, medical or pharmaceutical sales, and other health-related services.
Program Details
The program provides the foundation, knowledge, and skills needed to enter a variety of allied health fields, apply for graduate school, or teach in community colleges. Students will learn to develop, manage, lead, and evaluate health initiatives aimed at promoting the adoption and maintenance of healthy behaviors. The program also offers elective hours that provide students with an opportunity to individualize the curriculum to meet their specific career goals and requirements.
