Concentrations

  • The School Libraries concentration prepares students for a career in school libraries. Completion of this concentration entitles students to apply for licensure (076 Media Coordinator) from the State of North Carolina.
  • The Library Science, General concentration is designed for anyone seeking a career in public and academic libraries. Completion of the Master of Library Science, General program allows students to apply for Public Librarian Certification from the North Carolina Public Librarian Certification Commission.
