Program Overview


Overview

The Entrepreneurship concentration is designed for students interested in developing a business from the ground-up, including private for-profit enterprise, social economy enterprise, or cooperative enterprise. This concentration aims to equip students with the knowledge and practical experience necessary to start and manage new business projects. By the end of their studies, students will have developed an entrepreneurial mindset and a solid understanding of the concepts and processes involved in entrepreneurship.


Careers

The Entrepreneurship concentration provides students with the toolkit needed to conceptualize, develop, launch, and manage a new venture, including not-for-profit businesses, social enterprises, and cooperatives. Career paths also include working for start-ups, decentralized business units within larger organizations, and organizations that fund new ventures, such as venture capital firms and government agencies.
