Overview

The BSc. Geochemistry Minor program at McGill University allows students in the Chemistry Major program to explore how chemistry can be applied to problems in the Earth and Planetary Sciences. Earth and Planetary Science is a broad discipline that enables students to study the solid Earth, its hydrosphere, and neighbouring terrestrial planets. It is a multidisciplinary field that applies the principles of chemistry, physics, and mathematics to real-world problems to understand how planets work, examining these issues in the context of the past, present, and future.
