Program Overview

The Master of Management (M.M.) International Masters for Health Leadership (IMHL) (Non-Thesis) is a module-based program offered by the Desautels Faculty of Management, in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. The program's objective is to equip students with skills in reflective management, organizational analytics, and systems-level thinking in the health sector to pursue professional opportunities or potentially continue their studies.

Program Description

The program focuses on international healthcare delivery challenges through management and leadership concepts, and through the lens of managerial mindsets. It is delivered in three synchronous (live) online modules, and 2 in-person modules, a Managerial Exchange, and a non-thesis Master's degree paper. The program relies on teaching methods that bring together theoretical knowledge and the application to practice in real-time.

Unique Program Features

• The program integrates traditional disciplines such as strategy, organizational structure and behaviour, operations management, and financial management into students' managerial mindsets, maintaining a continuous focus on leadership and management in a healthcare context.
• The program is the result of an initial collaboration between the Desautels Faculty of Management and McGill’s Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, known worldwide for its ability to train exceptional medical leaders.

University-Level Admission Requirements

• An eligible Bachelor's degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA out of a possible 4.0 GPA
• English-language proficiency
