The Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in School/Applied Child Psychology is a research-intensive program offered by the Department of Educational & Counselling Psychology in the Faculty of Education. The program's objective is to equip students with skills in research synthesis, original thinking, and problem identification to pursue professional opportunities in academia or industry.
Program Description
The program prepares the next generation of school psychologists to provide state of the art educational and mental health services to children and adolescents from birth to 21 years old. The program utilizes the scientist-practitioner training model, where research supports and improves clinical activities, and clinical activities support and inspire research.

Admission Requirements
- An eligible Bachelor's degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA out of a possible 4.0 GPA.
- English-language proficiency.
