Program Overview
History
The History program at the University of Victoria offers graduate students the opportunity to explore the impact of historic events across time. Research areas range from racism and Indigenous history to early modern Europe and the history of crime. Faculty members often explore non-traditional ways of conducting and communicating research, including the use of geographic information systems and digital media. Students can also choose to build their knowledge across disciplines through the interdisciplinary concentration in cultural, social, and political thought.
