Course Description
The course will cover environmental pollution and analysis, dimensions and measurement of environmental analysis, sampling and sample preparation techniques, spectroscopic techniques, separation techniques, electrochemical techniques, and emerging techniques for environmental analysis. It will also introduce analysis of environmental pollutants by various techniques, quality assurance and control, green sample preparation and green analysis techniques, relations between environmental pollutants and ecosystems and public health, and new trends and future directions of environmental analysis.
Learning Outcomes
- Understand the principles and application of various types of analytical methods, sampling and sample preparation techniques, data acquisition, and evaluation of environmental analysis.
- Learn to use suitable analytical methods to analyze and monitor environmental pollutants.
- Learn rapidly emerging environmental analysis technologies, sustainable development in environmental analysis, and potential future research directions.
