Introduction to the AI+ Digital Content Creation Micro-Major

In the context of the Ministry of Education's initiative to empower education with artificial intelligence, Shanghai Jiao Tong University launched the "AI+ Education and Teaching" action plan in June 2024, aiming to promote the construction of AI+ micro-majors. The university's School of Cultural and Creative Industries (SCCI) has established the "AI+ Digital Content Creation" micro-major, focusing on the "AI+HI" development concept.

Project Overview

The "AI+ Digital Content Creation" micro-major is designed to cultivate compound talents who possess both cutting-edge AI application technologies and deep cross-disciplinary knowledge and cultural creativity. The program aims to meet the massive demand for new-type creative talents in the cultural and creative industries under digital transformation.

Teaching Arrangements and Study Duration

• Teaching Time: September 2025 to March 2026.
• Teaching Arrangement: Courses will be arranged on weekdays or weekends (a combination of online and offline teaching).

Tuition Fees and Certificate Awarding

• Tuition Fees: 35,000 yuan per term (students from member universities of the Shanghai Southwest University Alliance can enjoy a 40% discount).
• Certificate Awarding: Students who meet the requirements for completing the AI+ Digital Content Creation micro-major will receive a micro-major completion certificate and a non-academic education completion certificate issued by Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
