Introduction to the Program
The Cyberspace Security program at the University of Science and Technology of China is designed to cultivate high-level talents with a solid foundation in cyberspace security theory and specialized knowledge, as well as strong innovation and practical abilities. Program Requirements
- Master's Degree:
- The program requires a minimum of 35 credits, including 6 credits for compulsory courses, 6 credits for specialized courses, and 3 credits for elective courses.
- Students must complete a master's thesis and pass the thesis defense.
- Ph.D. Program:
- The program requires a minimum of 12 credits, including 4 credits for specialized courses and 3 credits for elective courses.
- Students must complete a Ph.D. dissertation and pass the dissertation defense.
Research Process Requirements
- Qualification Examination: Students must pass a qualification examination before entering the Ph.D. program.
- Mid-term Assessment: Students must pass a mid-term assessment to continue their studies.
- Dissertation Defense: Students must defend their dissertation to complete the program.
- Academic Reports: Students must attend at least 15 academic reports and give one academic report during their studies.
- National Academic Conference: Students must participate in at least one national academic conference and submit a paper.
