The program focuses on the history, development, performance, and external influence of Chinese opera, as well as its significant impact on Chinese and global material culture and human spiritual culture.

Course Structure

The course is divided into two main modules: theoretical and practical. The theoretical module adopts a multi-angle teaching method, combining classroom teaching with field teaching, to provide a comprehensive understanding of Chinese opera from its historical background, aesthetic characteristics, and scientific and technological content. The practical module is designed to provide students with a systematic and comprehensive teaching and training process, including appreciation, creation, performance, and product display, allowing students to quickly enter the learning and creation process.
