Program Structure
This program provides intensive instruction in Chinese law. Leading faculty members will offer Chinese law courses specifically designed for international students. The teaching will be comprised of both lectures and small-group seminars. In addition, Peking University regularly attracts top scholars and practitioners in Chinese law, and students will have first-hand access to such distinguished presenters. Admission Requirements
Applicants must have:
- a first degree in law (J.D., LL.B. or the equivalent) from a law school, or
- a Bachelor's degree plus substantial law-related working experiences. No more than 30 students will be admitted into this program in the year of 2025.
Application Deadlines
- Round 1: March 1, 2026
- Round 2: March 31, 2026 Note: Applicants intending to apply for the Youth of Excellence Scheme of China Program Chinese Government Scholarship and the Chinese Government Scholarship "High-Level Postgraduate Program" must submit their applications in the first round. Applicants for other scholarships and self-funded applicants may submit their applications in the second round.
