Fall Semester

• On-campus Registration for 2025 LLM Students: September 1
• Orientation Week for 2025 LLM Students: September 1-7
• Lectures begin: September 8
• Mid-Autumn Festival Holiday and National Day Holiday: October 1-8
• Dissertation Advisor Determination Deadline for one-year program and second year students: October 31
• Dissertation Proposal Submission Deadline for one-year program and second year students: November 28
• Winter Vacation: Classes end

Spring Semester

• Lectures begin: March 2
• Deadline for Submitting Dissertation for Anonymous Review for one-year program and second year students: March 31
• PKU Sports Day: April 24-26
• Labor Day Holiday: To be announced
• PKU Anniversary Day: May 4
• Summer Vacation: Starts from June 29
• Oral Defence for Degree Thesis: 1st week of June (approx.)
• Graduation Ceremony of Law school: In late June
• Graduation Ceremony of PKU: July 3
