The programme provides a comprehensive understanding of health informatics and healthcare logistics, covering topics such as public health informatics, telehealth, and healthcare digitalization.

Programme Objectives

The programme aims to equip learners with the following competencies:

• Define Public Health Informatics
• Examine need and support for Public Health Informatics
• Identify resources available to assist in disaster or crisis communication
• Examine key issues with respect to information and communication technology for populations and healthcare providers
• Discuss implications of Public Health Informatics to improve patient and population outcomes
• Identify telehealth applications and discuss issues pertaining to the practice of telehealth
• Understand tools used in logistics
• Map healthcare processes and patient journeys
• Use knowledge of the logistics industry to optimize clinical care processes

Prerequisites

The programme is designed for healthcare professionals and mid-career PMETs looking to pivot into health informatics roles, with at least a diploma (or equivalent) and managerial exposure.

Programme Fees

The programme fees are as follows:

• Singapore Citizens: S$3,363.00 (39 years old or younger), S$2,223.00 (40 years old or older)
• Singapore PRs: S$3,363.00 (39 years old or younger), S$2,223.00 (40 years old or older)
• Enhanced Training Support for SMEs: S$3,363.00 (39 years old or younger), S$2,223.00 (40 years old or older)
• International Participants: S$6,213.00

Programme Duration

The programme duration is 6 days.

Other Information

The programme is offered biannually, available once every six months. Participants must fulfill at least 75% attendance and pass all assessment components to be eligible for SSG funding. The programme is part of the Advanced Professional Certificate in Digital Health Informatics. Funding is available for courses under this professional certificate.
