Programme Overview
The programme provides a comprehensive introduction to programming concepts and techniques.
Programme Objectives
At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Master fundamental programming concepts, including variables, expressions, branches, loops, and functions.
- Understand the importance of function and data abstraction in programming.
- Develop problem-solving skills by applying programming methodologies.
- Gain proficiency in recursion, data searching, and sorting techniques.
- Learn to use various data structures, including dictionaries and sets, and appreciate self-defined abstract data types.

The programme prepares learners for job roles such as Data/AI/System/Software Engineers.

Prerequisites
- STEM field degree/poly diploma
- A Level with reasonable math/computing grade

- Total Nett Programme Fee Payable, including GST, after additional funding from various funding schemes.
- Participants must fulfill at least 75% attendance and pass all assessment components for all short courses within a professional certificate in order to be eligible for SSG funding.
- The applicable funding is for Singaporeans and Singapore PRs. This is subject to change and in accordance with SSG funding guidelines as of course commencement.
- Maximum Candidature Period: Candidates who enrol for the professional certificates must complete the programme within three years from the start of their course.
