The objective of the course is to understand and apply Construction Law so that a project will be well managed, completed with good quality materials and workmanship, and within time and budget. The program seeks to equip professionals with the following knowledge and skills:
- Application of standard forms of construction contracts
- Application of the Security of Payment Act and relevant legislation With the acquisition of these skills, a professional would be able to understand and carry out contractual and statutory obligations, assert their rights, and ensure compliance with contract and statutory obligations, resulting in good management and timely completion of the project within budget.

Instructor
Assoc Professor Lim Pin is a faculty member in the Department of the Built Environment at NUS. He teaches project management law, with research interests that include construction law, adjudication, and the Security of Payment Act, and contract administration and procurement.
