Overview
The programme is designed to support the Built Environment's push towards increasing deployment of Super Low / Zero / Positive Energy Buildings. It aims to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills to assess potential areas for solar PV deployment, perform financial calculations, and describe how renewable energy credits can be utilized for sustainable buildings.

Instructor Profile
Dr. Stephen Tay is active in the solar PV industry through the following:
- Involved with the SolarNova programme led by EDB and HDB.
- Contributed to the Super Low Energy Building Technology Roadmap by BCA.
- Served in consultancy roles for both local and overseas corporates.
- Engaged as the Lead Trainer by the ASEAN-German Energy Programme (AGEP) to train ASEAN decision-makers from on the topic of solar PV.
- Awarded the “Young Green Building Advocate Award” in 2019, which was jointly conferred by BCA and SGBC.
Funding and Eligibility
Learners must record at least 75% attendance, and pass all assessment components, to be eligible for SSG funding.
