Ocular Pharmacology for Clinical Optometrists
The Ocular Pharmacology for Clinical Optometrists program is a 2-week course that provides students with a refresher on the pharmacological principles and therapeutic interventions related to the treatment of ocular diseases.

Pre-Requisites and Assessment
- The candidates must be fully registered with The Optometry and Opticianry Board (OOB) and have obtained at least one of the following qualifications:
- A recognised university degree or higher qualifications in optometry
- Optometry degrees from any private universities run in Singapore before
- Degrees in Life/Health Sciences but possess a valid practicing certificate in optometry and have at least two years of relevant experience
- The assessment includes assignments, online test, practical exam, and written exam.
Awards and Certification
- The course is stacked with two other modules to form the Graduate Certificate in Recognizing and Co-managing Common Retinal Diseases.
Course Fees
- The full program fee is $1890.
- The nett course fee payable, including GST, after additional funding from the various funding schemes, is $618.03 for Singapore citizens aged 40 and above, and $240.03 for Singapore citizens aged 39 and below.

- The course submission closes on 03 Nov 2025 (Monday) 23:59HR (strictly no extension will be given).
- No payment is collected now, as the courses are ongoing registration.
- As part of the submission requirement for academic courses, please prepare to upload your NRIC (front and back) / transcript / Certification during the application.
- All applicants will be notified of the application outcome (offered/rejected) ~ 4 weeks after registration closing.
- You will need to accept/reject the course offering by then & the school’s administrative & finance team will contact all applicants to proceed with administration & corp billing/payment/ Skillsfuture application in stages.
- Courses are not offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- A committee will review all applications based on the eligibility criteria.
- Student Services Fee of $25.70 is payable for the semester after enrolling in the academic course.
