Program Overview
Introduction to the NUS MBA
The NUS MBA is designed to support professional and personal growth through an immersive and holistic learning experience. Balancing academic rigour with an experiential approach, the curriculum gives students the knowledge and toolkit to succeed in a rapidly changing world.
Program Structure
The NUS MBA offers a full-time 17-month program or a part-time 24-30 month program for working professionals. The typical course consists of 4 units, 3 hours a week, and 13 weeks duration. Intake is every August, and the format is full-time and part-time.
Dual Core Foundation
The NUS MBA underpins its foundation with a Dual Core, balancing academic and experiential core courses. The Academic Core provides general management knowledge and concepts required to succeed in an increasingly complex global business environment. The Experiential Core takes students beyond the classroom, exposing them to the challenges business leaders face every day.
Academic Core Courses
- Corporate Strategy: Deals with major techniques and approaches to the development and implementation of strategy for firms competing domestically and internationally.
- Financial Management: Provides a strong conceptual foundation for finance, using finance theory to solve practical problems faced by financial managers.
- Financial Accounting: Stresses the theory of accounts, generally accepted accounting principles, and the interpretation of financial statements.
- Managerial Economics: Develops the analytic tools of microeconomic theory for modeling the economic behaviour of economic agents and the functioning of markets.
- Marketing Strategy: Imparts marketing concepts and tools that may be applied to solve various problems in marketing strategy, with an Asian perspective.
- Managerial Operations & Analytics: Equips students to understand the processes of a firm, assess its operations thoughtfully, identify root causes of operational failure, and develop recommendations using analytics.
- Leading with Impact: Helps students meet the challenge of leading individuals, groups, and organizations effectively, focusing on becoming self-aware and recognizing the challenges to leading others.
Experiential Core Courses
- Launch Your Transformation: A high-energy, high-impact, intensive 5-day boot camp that masters the power of influencing others to become a better leader.
- MBA Management Skills: Equips students with a consulting toolkit, applying hypotheses-led thinking to project planning, structuring, and presenting a value creation model.
- MBA Consulting Project: Applies what students have learned to solve a business problem or tap into growth opportunities, working in small teams and closely with key business stakeholders.

Admissions
Admission requirements for the NUS MBA include:
- A good undergraduate degree
- Minimum two years of professional experience
- Good GMAT/GRE score
- TOEFL/IELTS score (if the medium of instruction in undergraduate study was not in English)
Tuition Fees
Tuition fees for the NUS MBA program are SGD 80,333 (includes GST). A non-refundable acceptance fee of S$10,900 (includes GST) is payable to NUS upon offer acceptance. Please note that the Universities reserve the right to revise the fees. Applicants are encouraged to refer to the individual school’s website for updates during application.
