Program Overview
The HR Analytics program is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and tools to measure and enhance the human capital within their organisation. This two-day course introduces a diverse set of tools to facilitate perception, prediction, and prototyping.
Key Learning Outcomes
- Be able to assess critically the evidence or evidence-like statements relevant to “people” problems
- Understand analytical techniques most appropriate for deriving valid HR insights
- Be able to prioritise which organisational designs or HR interventions could be more effective

Day 1
- Introduction to HR Analytics
- Case Discussion: Why use analytics?
- Exercise: Prepare & Understand Datasets
- Perception Analytics
- Forming Hypotheses & Testing them
- Exercise: Testing & Verifying “Hunches”
Day 2
- Prediction Analytics
- The logic of making predictions using Machine Learning
- Exercise: Who will quit?
- Prototyping: Changing Practices, The Right Way
- Learning to design experiments
- Exercise: A/B Testing in your company

Application Procedure and Deadline
Participants are strongly advised to apply at least 1 month in advance.
Pre-Requisites
Experience with HR activities and a basic understanding of data analytics techniques. Participants are expected to bring their own laptops.
Funding Scheme
The program is eligible for subsidies under SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG). Singaporeans or PR can enjoy up to 70% or more subsidies.
