Introduction to the Master of Science in Maritime Technology and Management (MSc(MTM))
The Master of Science in Maritime Technology and Management (MSc(MTM)) is a joint program between the Department of Industrial Systems Engineering and Management (ISEM) of the Faculty of Engineering at the National University of Singapore and the Centre for Maritime Studies (CMS). The program aims to equip graduates with the critical skills needed to achieve Singapore's next-generation port goals, including industrial systems development, big data analysis, and emerging port technologies.
Program Structure

Admission Requirements
- Applicants must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Applicants without an honors degree may be required to attend an interview.
- Priority is given to applicants with a technical background or at least two years of work experience in the maritime or logistics industry.
- English language proficiency is required for applicants whose undergraduate degree was not taught in English.
Tuition Fees
The tuition fees for the 2024/25 academic year are S$63,220 (inclusive of 9% GST). A tuition fee rebate is available for eligible students, with the amount varying depending on the student's nationality and alumni status.
Payment Schedule
The tuition fees are payable in installments, with the payment schedule as follows:
- Full-time students: Two installments
- Part-time students: Four installments
Additional Fees
- A non-refundable application fee of S$109 (inclusive of GST) is required for online applications.
- A deposit of S$5,450 is required upon acceptance of the offer, which will be credited to the student's tuition fee account.
- Miscellaneous fees are payable directly to the university each semester.
