The NUS MSc in Human Capital Management and Analytics is a part-time program delivered intensively over four semesters, including a practicum component. The program requires the completion of 44 units to graduate.

Course Descriptions
People Analytics
This course introduces students to the cutting edge of how people can be organised using analytics. It brings scientific understanding and methods into improving the management of people, enabled by a combination of theoretical advances and the increased availability of computational power and data as a result of digitalisation.
Quantitative Methods for HR
This course provides students with the necessary knowledge and understanding needed to design sound research projects for internal organisational purposes and to critically appraise published work in the areas of human resource management and organisational behaviour.
Talent Management
This course introduces students to the fundamentals of Talent Management, challenging them to critically think about, discuss, and evaluate the complexities of managing talents within and beyond organisations.
Compensation and Performance Management
This course addresses how organisations use compensation and performance management practices to drive strategic business success, examining how recent theoretical and research developments inform compensation decisions and performance management.
Labour and Employment Law
This course aims to make HR practitioners aware of the kinds of legal issues that can arise in the employment context, with a comparative/international focus.
Talent Assessment & Selection
This course is a key component of human capital management, focusing on talent assessment and selection.
Artificial Intelligence for HR
This course introduces students to the key concepts in AI, equipping HR managers with the vocabulary and understanding to interact with the technology function in their organisations.
HR Technology
This course provides students with a comprehensive exploration of how technology can enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the Human Resources function.
HR Consultancy Practicum
The goal of this experiential learning is to enable part-time students to apply HR management and analytics concepts and theories to real-world HR issues faced by organisations.
Ethics in Human Resource
This course focuses on developing students' ability to understand and manage ethical conduct and social responsibility in business organisations.
HR as Strategic Partner for Growth and Transformation
This course introduces students to the importance of implementing business strategies through people strategies, building on cross-disciplinary research to help students form a more strategic perspective on the impact they can play in today's complex and dynamic businesses.
Negotiation and Dispute Resolution
This course highlights the components of effective negotiation, teaching students to analyse their own behaviour in negotiations and develop their skills through experiential learning.
Requirements for Completion and Graduation
To graduate from the program, students must complete the program requirements and achieve a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 3.2 (out of 5.0). Failure to maintain a GPA of 3.2 may result in dismissal from the program.
