Course Objectives

This course aims to help participants apply data analytics knowledge and skills to understand and tackle business problems, prepare and analyze data, communicate results, and subsequently create business values for their organisations.

Outline

• Create a detailed problem statement to address real-world business problems
• Use appropriate data and the technical skills they have/will learn to solve such problems
• Use data visualization to communicate the deliverables

• Course fee Breakdown:
  • Total Nett Programme Fee after 9% GST + additional funding from the various funding schemes
  • International: S$3,433.50
  • Singapore Citizen 39 years old or younger: S$1,858.50
  • Singapore Citizen 40 years or older eligible for MCES: S$1,228.50
  • Singapore PRs: S$1,858.50
  • Enhanced Training Support for SMEs: S$1,228.50

FAQs

Course Registration

1. When does the registration close? Registration will close two weeks before commencement date or when the registration is full, whichever earlier.
2. How do I know if my registration has been submitted successfully? An acknowledgement email will be sent to you.
3. I received the acknowledgement email. Does that mean that my place in the class is confirmed? No. The acknowledgment email is to inform you that the registration is submitted successfully. Your registration is still required to be processed by the short course coordinator internally.

Course Funding

1. What funding(s) is available for the courses? Please refer to the ‘Course Fees’ section in the course brochure.
2. I am corporate/self-sponsored. Am I eligible for SSG Funding? Yes. All Singapore Citizen/SPR attending SSG funded courses will be eligible for SSG Funding, provided you have not taken the same course before.

Payment

1. What are the modes of payment?
   • Visa, Mastercard, Amex or Alipay
   • PayNow (a QR code will be displayed during payment)
   • SkillsFuture credits
   • PSEA
2. When can I make the payment? Once your registration has been processed and an offer of placement has been granted to you, you will receive an automated email for you to accept the offer.

Assessment

1. Is there an assessment component for the course? Yes. The mode of assessment is up to the CET instructor’s discretion.
2. What happens if I did not achieve a ‘Competent’ grade in my assessment? You will be notified by the short course coordinator if you did not achieve “Competent” for the short course.

Certificate

1. Will I receive a certificate for the course? Yes. An e-certificate will be issued upon successful completion of the course.
2. Can I request a specific name to be on the e-certificate? The name on the e-certificate will be issued according to the full name as per registration.
