Emergency Medicine Residency
Program Overview
Emergency Medicine Residency
The mission of the Emergency Medicine Residency offered by NYU Grossman School of Medicine is to offer the next generation of physicians the experience, skills, and vision they need to become innovators and leaders in emergency medicine.
We accomplish this by creating a safe and comprehensive training environment that promotes excellent clinical care, inquisitive scholarship, and compassionate, dedicated public service.
Specifically, we strive to train outstanding clinicians capable of functioning in any environment, and to ensure a spirit of compassion for all patients. We are committed to developing disciplined, hardworking, resilient, and team-oriented emergency physicians, and to foster in them a passion for a subspecialty or niche that they can develop into a career.
