United Kingdom: Global Music Management

Program Overview

This program is designed for graduate students to learn about music business expansion plans in a global context. Participants will apply market-trend data, sensitivity to local cultures, and knowledge of a wide range of music to examine current global music management strategies.

Who can participate:

• NYU graduate students
• Non-NYU graduate students and professionals who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents and currently hold a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university in the United States

Academics

This is a credit-bearing graduate Global course. Students will self-register for MPAMB-GE 2207, Section 095 (Class #1325) - Global Music Management (3 credits). The program is offered through the Department of Music and Performing Arts Professions.

Out-of-Pocket Costs

Students are responsible for purchasing flights to and from the program location and should budget for daily meals, transportation, passport and/or visa fees, vaccination costs, and other personal incidentals.

Program Housing & Travel Logistics

Housing

Students will stay in shared-occupancy housing arranged by the Office of Global Affairs, included in the Program Fee.

Flight, Travel, and Visa Information

• Students book their own travel to coincide with program dates.
• All participants must have a valid passport, which must be valid for at least six months beyond the program end date.
