Urogynecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery Fellowship
Program Overview
Urogynecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery Fellowship
The Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS) fellowship at NYU Langone is a jointly offered program by the Departments of Urology and Obstetrics and Gynecology. The program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and is open to candidates in good standing in accredited urology or OBGYN residency training programs.
Program Length and Structure
The program length is three years for OBGYN-trained fellows and two years for urology-trained fellows. The number of open positions each year varies from one to three, with the goal of having both urology-trained and OBGYN-trained fellows in the program at all times.
Clinical Training and Research
Clinical training is provided by board-certified faculty from both departments, with a strong foundation in clinical and translational research.
