Introduction to the Emerging Technologies M.S. Program

The Master of Science in Emerging Technologies program at NYU Tandon is designed to empower students with the essential skills and knowledge to thrive in a rapidly evolving world where artificial intelligence is transforming every industry. This pioneering program, available both on-campus and fully online, allows students to design a personalized curriculum that aligns with their unique career aspirations while gaining the fundamental AI fluency demanded by the modern job market.

Program Overview

The program emphasizes flexibility, enabling students to build their degree across cutting-edge fields with a strong emphasis on artificial intelligence, including a dedicated Machine Learning and AI concentration. Students can choose from eight other technology-focused and high-value specializations, such as cybersecurity, robotics, or user experience design. This interdisciplinary approach ensures that students can apply AI within their specific area of interest, whether that's healthcare, finance, creative industries, or more traditional engineering fields. Crucial topics like responsible AI and ethical decision-making are also explored, preparing students to lead in a technology-driven future.
