Vertically Integrated Projects (VIP-UY)
The Vertically Integrated Projects (VIP-UY) courses are designed to allow select students to participate in ongoing research, innovation, design, and entrepreneurial projects within student teams, under the direction of faculty from within Tandon, and other schools of NYU.

- VIP-UY 300X: Vertically Integrated Projects (1-3 Credits)
- Typically offered: Fall and Spring
- Description: This course allows students to participate in ongoing research projects within student teams, under the direction of faculty from within Tandon, and other schools of NYU.
- Eligibility: Open to students from the sophomore to senior years
- Application Process: Students must apply to engage in a specific project in a given semester, with decisions on acceptance made by the faculty advisors for the project, in consultation with the Director of the VIP Program.
- Grading: Ugrd Tandon Graded
- Repeatable for additional credit: Yes
- Antirequisites: Up to 6 credits and cannot be on academic probation
- VIP-UY 3000: Vertically Integrated Projects (0 Credits)
- Typically offered: Fall and Spring
- Description: This is the zero-credit version of the course, allowing students to participate in ongoing research, innovation, design, and entrepreneurial projects within student teams, under the direction of faculty from within Tandon, and other schools of NYU.
- Eligibility: Open to students from the first to senior years
- Application Process: Students must apply to engage in a specific project in a given semester, with decisions on acceptance made by the faculty advisors for the project, in consultation with the Director of the VIP Program.
- Commitment: Students must commit to at least three semesters of participation in VIP, either enrolling in VIP-UY 300X or VIP-UY 3000.
- Grading: Ugrd Tandon Pass/Fail
