Healthcare Management, Graduate Certificate
The graduate Certificate in Healthcare Management requires a minimum of 15 s.h. of graduate credit. Students must maintain a UI cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.00 in order to earn the certificate. Enrollment is limited to 10 students.
Program Structure
The required courses provide foundational business and leadership skills specific to health care. They are offered in five-week blocks at University of Iowa campuses in Iowa City and Des Moines. Students complete the five health care courses over a period of 15 months; all 15 s.h. earned in the certificate program may be used toward degree requirements for the Master of Health Administration, MHA executive subprogram (EMHA).
