Overview
The Professional Master of Engineering program is designed to assist engineers and technical professionals in the development of their careers and to provide the expertise needed in the rapidly changing business, government, and industrial environments.
Abstract
Drawing on the innovation and expertise of the University of Maryland Energy Research Center, the Energy Systems Engineering graduate program prepares professional engineers for the multi-disciplinary challenges of this rapidly growing field. Students can build on the core coursework through our defined elective sets in reliability engineering and energy systems or by mixing and matching technical electives.
Program Details
- The program can be completed on a part-time basis for domestic students, but international students must be enrolled full-time.
- The program does not provide departmental assistantships or fellowships.
- Loans, work-study, and need-based grants for citizens and permanent residents with demonstrated financial need may submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by appropriate FAFSA deadlines.
