  • Applicants from non-English speaking countries must satisfy the requirements of UMD's office of International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS), which generally involves submitting scores from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), financial certification, and visa documentation.

Tuition and Fees

  • Students in the Graduate Certificate programs pay a special tuition rate, which is not fully covered by graduate assistantships, fellowships, or tuition remission.
