Theological Studies
The Master of Theological Studies program is a diverse and inclusive community of students from various backgrounds and denominations. The program includes:
- Supervised Experience in Ministry (SEM) courses, which provide students with practical experience in ministry settings
- Courses that explore indigenous perspectives, such as TS 732 - "Theologies of the Global South" and TS 733 - "Indigenous Theologies and Methods"
- A range of denominations represented, including Mennonite, Pentecostal, Orthodox, Anglican, and Baptist

Practical Placements
Students in the Applied Studies stream of the Master of Theological Studies degree find Supervised Experience in Ministry (SEM) courses to be highly rewarding aspects of the curriculum. With two required placements, students:
- Explore ministry in a practical setting
- Set learning goals
- Develop a reading list
- Write a summative paper
Indigenous Voices
The Master of Theological Studies program is careful to include indigenous perspectives in the curriculum, following Call to Action #60 of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. Courses like TS 732 and TS 733 explore indigenous theologies with attention to experience, history, the nature of the spiritual, key figures, and important themes.
