The Master of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Technology (MBET) part-time program is a practical graduate business degree designed for entrepreneurs. This program combines academic learning with real-world experience, providing a dynamic and unique entrepreneurial education. Students develop the skills to solve problems and commercialize new ideas while balancing full-time work.
Program Overview
The MBET program is based on a philosophy of learning by doing. Course materials focus on practical theories that students can apply to their workplace or venture. The program consists of ten integrated courses that correspond to the entrepreneurial process, rather than being divided by conventional terms. The content of the part-time and full-time versions of the program is the same.

Program Structure and Schedule
The part-time program is three years in duration, with a weekend format that offers flexibility for students who want to develop their entrepreneurial skills. The curriculum is delivered in weekend sessions (Friday evening and all day Saturday), held roughly every three weeks for a total of 12 weekend sessions per year.

Location and Facilities
The Conrad School of Entrepreneurship and Business is currently located on the University of Waterloo's East Campus in the Engineering 7 building.
