Honours GEM Co-op Sequencing

The Honours GEM Co-op program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in geography and environmental management, combined with practical work experience through co-op placements.

Program Structure

The program is typically completed in five years, with eight academic terms. The suggested course sequencing is as follows:

Year 1

  • GEOG 100: On Becoming a Geographer (F)
  • GEOG 101: Human Geographies (FW)
  • ENVS 178: Environmental Applications of Data Management and Statistics (FW)
  • One of the following or Elective:
