Computational Decision Science and Operations Research (M.S.)
The Computational Decision Science and Operations Research (M.S.) program is designed for students with a strong foundation in mathematics, computer science, engineering, or business.
Admission Requirements
To be considered for admission, students must have a bachelor of science in mathematics, computer science, industrial engineering, electrical and computer engineering, mechanical engineering, or business or related areas with a minimum grade point average of 3.0/4.0.
Prerequisite Knowledge
Students should have some knowledge of:
- Linear algebra
- Discrete math
- Probability and statistics
- Programming
GRE Scores
Applicants must submit Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores. The minimum required GRE scores are:
- 304 (quantitative + verbal)
- 2.5 (analytical writing)
English Proficiency
Any applicant whose undergraduate degree was earned at an institution where the primary language of instruction is not English must submit a Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 550/213/80 (paper/computer/internet test score).
