Faculty of Technical Sciences

The Faculty of Technical Sciences at Aarhus University offers a range of programs in the fields of engineering, technology, and science.

Bachelor of Engineering

The Bachelor of Engineering program takes 3 ½ years to complete and is a business-orientated program. The program provides students with knowledge about technology that can be applied in many different fields, and enables them to create specific solutions.


Graduates can go directly to the job market or choose to continue on a MSc in Engineering program, which takes two more years to complete.

Master of Science in Engineering or Bachelor of Engineering?

The main difference between an MSc in Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering program is the level of specialization and the duration of the program. An MSc in Engineering program takes two years to complete and provides students with advanced knowledge and skills in a specific field of engineering. A Bachelor of Engineering program, on the other hand, takes 3 ½ years to complete and provides students with a broad foundation in engineering and technology.
