FAQ - Payment

Expenses, Payment, and Invoicing

  • How does the payment work?
    • You are invoiced semester-wise for the number of courses you have enrolled in that semester. You do not pay for the entire education at once.
  • When do you send an invoice?
    • You or your workplace will receive an invoice shortly after you have received your admission letter.
    • You are asked to follow up on the payment being made, as it is your responsibility that it happens in a timely manner. You will only be allowed to take the exam when you have paid the invoice.

Can the invoice be divided into smaller installments?

  • On the education, you only pay in advance for the courses you have enrolled in the coming semester. For auditing reasons, we unfortunately cannot offer to divide the invoice for a semester into smaller installments.

What if I start paying and later get my employer to pay?

  • It is not a problem. You just need to send the new payment information to [insert email], and then we will send the invoice to your employer instead of you.
  • If your employer is to pay, we need the following information:
    • CVR number
    • Company name
    • Company address
    • Attention/PO number/Order number (you are asked to investigate whether this needs to be stated for your company to pay the invoice)
    • EAN number (This is mandatory for all public institutions and for some larger companies)
    • Phone number for contact in connection with invoicing
    • Email for contact in connection with invoicing
  • The invoice to your employer is sent to the company via e-box or EAN.

Do I have to pay for courses I get merit for?

  • You do not have to pay for courses that you get merit for.
  • It is not always that we manage to process all merit applications before we invoice. If you get merit, after you have paid for the courses, you will of course have the payment for the courses you have got merit for refunded.
  • Read more about the possibilities for merit here.

What does the participant payment cover?

  • The participant payment is invoiced semester-wise for the number of courses you have enrolled in and covers costs for tuition, three exam attempts per course, teaching materials, catering, and administration, as well as gives you the right to follow the teaching in the semester you are admitted. You do not pay for the entire education at once.

What should I expect in terms of additional expenses?

  • The price of an MBA includes both tuition and teaching materials, and there should be no additional expenses for these.
  • If you choose the elective courses "The Digital Organization" and "Digital Innovation," you should expect an additional expense, as these courses include a study tour and cost 30,000 DKK per course. The price includes tuition and teaching materials but does not cover flights, hotel, and other expenses.

Is there VAT on the participant payment?

  • Tuition is exempt from VAT payment, so the participant payment does not contain VAT and will not be subject to VAT. The part of the invoice that covers teaching materials and catering is subject to VAT, and this is included in the prices.

Can I get a refund if I withdraw?

  • If you wish to withdraw from a course, you must do so by email to [insert email].
  • The deadline for withdrawal is September 1st and February 1st, and if you withdraw within this deadline, your participant payment will be refunded.
  • If you withdraw after the start of the teaching, the participant payment cannot be refunded.
  • Refunding of the participant payment at a later time than these deadlines requires that you can document that there are extraordinary circumstances.

Can I get support for further and continuing education?

  • Further and continuing education does not entitle you to SU. You may be eligible for SVU (State Adult Education Support) for further and continuing education teaching, if you meet the requirements, and if the teaching takes place as full-time teaching. The requirement for full-time teaching can also be met by combining several part-time courses or educations.
  • Read more about the requirements for getting SVU on [insert website].

Can I get SU?

  • It is not possible to get SU for further education, as it is reserved for daytime studies.
  • SVU (State Adult Education Support) may be an option in certain cases, but the rules for getting SVU are quite detailed, so you should investigate your options on [insert website].
