Program Overview
Introduction to the Program
The Kandidatuddannelsen i Uddannelsesvidenskab (Master's Program in Education Science) is a two-year graduate program offered by Aarhus University. The program focuses on the development and leadership of people and organizations in the field of education.
Program Structure
The program consists of four semesters, with the following structure:
- 1st semester: Udvikling og ledelse af mennesker og organisationer (Development and Leadership of People and Organizations) and Metodologi i kvalitativt perspektiv (Methodology in Qualitative Perspective)
- 2nd semester: Forvaltning og styring af uddannelse og pædagogisk praksis (Administration and Management of Education and Pedagogical Practice) and Kvantitative metoder (Quantitative Methods)
- 3rd semester: Evaluering og måling (Evaluation and Measurement) and Specialisering (Specialization)
- 4th semester: Speciale (Master's Thesis)
Admission Requirements
To be eligible for the program, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education Science or a related field
- English proficiency equivalent to Danish B-level
- Danish proficiency equivalent to Danish A-level (for non-Danish speaking applicants)

Study Life
The program is a full-time study program, and students are expected to dedicate 37 hours per week to their studies. The program is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in education science, as well as practical skills and experience.
