The Kandidatuddannelse in Digital Design is a two-year graduate program offered by Aarhus University. The program focuses on interactive digital technologies, their context, culture, and aesthetics.
Introduction
The program explores the development of digital experiences, with an emphasis on interaktionsdesign, digital culture, and digital aesthetics. Students learn to analyze and evaluate digital design and digital culture, using theoretical and methodological approaches.
Program Structure
The program consists of four semesters, with the following structure:
- 1st semester: Data and digital culture, Strategic design, Kernefag
- 2nd semester: Metoder and praksisser in digital designforskning, Eksperimentel interaktionsdesign, Perspektiveringsfag
- 3rd semester: Profil (30 ECTS)
- 4th semester: Speciale (30 ECTS)
Admission Requirements
To be eligible for the program, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Digital Design or a related field
- English proficiency (B-level)
- Danish proficiency (A-level)

Tuition Fees

Audiodesign Linje

- Projektorienteret forløb
Projektorienteret Forløb
The projektorienteret forløb is a project-based course that allows students to work on real-world projects, applying theoretical knowledge to practical problems.
DADIU
DADIU (Dansk Akademi for Interaktiv Underholdning) is a collaboration between Aarhus University and the Danish games industry, offering students the opportunity to work on game development projects.
Studieliv
The program is a full-time study, with a mix of lectures, project work, and group assignments. Students have access to labs and facilities, including a sound studio and 3D modeling equipment.
