The Fleksibel Master i Jura (Flexible Master in Law) is a personalized, self-contained educational program that concludes with a final project. It is designed for individuals who require a master's degree in law but cannot find a relevant, regulated master's program.
Program Structure
The program consists of the following elements:
- An initial, obligatory guidance course where the educational plan is developed by the student in collaboration with a fixed instructor from the Law Institute.
- Typically, four candidate courses, each worth 10 ECTS points, with a requirement for internal coherence between the courses, academic progression, etc.
- A written final project, typically worth 20 ECTS points, within the program's main subject area, including an oral examination and assessed with external censorship and grading.
Admission Requirements
To be admitted to the program, applicants must:
- Have completed a relevant, qualifying education at a minimum of:
- A medium-length, further education
- A bachelor's degree
- A candidate degree
- A diploma education completed as a regulated course
- Have at least two years of relevant work experience after completing the qualifying education.
Program Duration and Location
- The program is typically completed in 3-4 years on a part-time basis.
- The program is located in Aarhus.
Tuition Fees
- The guidance course costs 4,300 DKK.
- Each candidate course costs 9,000 DKK, totaling 36,000 DKK for four courses.
- The final project costs 20,000 DKK.
- Total estimated cost: 60,300 DKK.
