Commercial and Retail Management
The Commercial and Retail Management program is a new educational and research initiative at the Department of Management. The program was started in 2020 in close collaboration with business stakeholders from the Danish consumer goods sector, representing both suppliers and retailers.
Program Goals
The goal of the Commercial and Retail Management program is to develop new research-based knowledge and research-based education with a focus on the many new challenges and opportunities facing the consumer goods sector, such as new multi-omni-channels for sales and communication, the increasing importance of big data, value chains, and more.
Program Objectives
The program has several objectives, including:
- Developing attractive programs for students
- Educating attractive candidates for the sector
- Developing new research-based knowledge
- Creating an internationally leading research environment within consumer goods
- Working closely with companies in the sector on both research and educational activities
Program Leadership
