Overview of the Program

The Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (BCC) at FFCLRP-USP aims to form professionals with solid theoretical and practical knowledge in the main areas of Computing, qualifying them to work in different activities that require the use of computational resources and technologies. The curriculum is structured around axes of formation that cover mathematics, fundamentals, and technologies of computing, as well as humanistic and applied aspects, focusing on innovation, ethics, and social responsibility.

Infrastructure of the Program

The available infrastructure includes modern classrooms, computer labs with 40 computers each, and specialized research laboratories operating in different areas of knowledge. Students also have access to the Central Library of the Campus, with a wide physical and digital collection.

Professional Insertion

The practical work of the Bachelor in Computer Science is quite broad. From a given problem existing in a multidisciplinary environment, this professional is able to analyze, design, and implement a computational system to solve this problem in an innovative way. They find a job market in public institutions, non-governmental organizations, and, mainly, in the private sector (companies that have computing as an end or means). They can also undertake.
