Editoração – São Paulo

The Bachelor's degree in Social Communication with a specialization in Editoração at the School of Communications and Arts (ECA-USP) focuses on mastering all stages of the book chain – from author to reader. This includes the selection of originals, textual preparation and revision, and monitoring the work during and after its publication.

Inserção Profissional

Conceived to reconcile humanistic and market-oriented aspects, the Editoração course offers theoretical and practical content developed between the classroom and the laboratory. Additionally, it features the Com-Arte laboratory-publisher, allowing students to start their portfolio from their first contacts with book production.

Infraestrutura

By the end of the four years, students are expected to occupy relevant positions in the editorial market or continue their research in postgraduate studies. The proportion of professionally inserted students is high, a factor that stimulates the performance of students interested in working with books, a material and symbolic object that occupies a central position in the universe of cultural goods.
