Overview
The objective of the Licenciatura em Educação Física course is to prepare professionals in the field of Physical Education for work in the school network. The student will receive, in addition to the basic knowledge of the area, a formation focused on Pedagogy with a view to understanding formal education and the relevance of Physical Education as a curricular discipline.
Profile of the Student
The student has areas of interest focused on understanding the processes involved in learning, human development, and quality of life. The graduate should be able to understand the importance of Physical Education in the socialization and teaching-learning process. They will be encouraged to analyze the psychological, philosophical, historical, biological, social, and physical aspects involved in human movement.
Infrastructure
The Escola de Educação Física e Esporte de São Paulo has a wide infrastructure for its students, including a covered and heated swimming pool, covered multi-sport courts, tatami, gym, and academy, all exclusive for use by the EEFE USP community. It has several laboratories and research groups, in addition to agreements with universities around the world for the realization of exchanges.

The licensed Physical Education professional will be able to exercise their activities in places where schooling is developed, whether in the municipal, state, or private education network.
