Overview of the Program

The Bacharelado em Educação Física: Ênfase em Treinamento e Gestão no Esporte is a program offered by the Escola de Educação Física e Esporte at the Universidade de São Paulo. The program aims to form professionals capable of meeting social needs related to health, education, sports, culture, and leisure for the population.

Objectives

The program's objectives are to:

• Form a professional capable of planning, administering, implementing, developing, and evaluating physical education and sports programs for the general population and people with disabilities.
• Enable professionals to provide advice, consulting, and guidance on physical exercise and its interfaces with health, education, sports, and culture.
• Equip professionals with autonomy to seek continuous academic and professional improvement throughout their careers.

Formation

The program provides students with the necessary knowledge to work in planning, implementation, development, administration, and evaluation of physical education and sports programs for different age groups and populations with diverse needs. Students will also receive training in planning, administration, organization, and execution of sports competitions and events.

Profile of the Student

The ideal student for this program is someone interested in studying human movement related to different social needs, such as education, leisure, culture, health, and sports. The student will be stimulated to study the psychological, philosophical, historical, biological, social, and physical aspects involved in human movement.

Costs

As the Escola de Educação Física e Esporte is part of the Universidade de São Paulo, a state-funded university, there are no tuition fees or monthly payments for undergraduate courses.

The program's pedagogical project was renewed by the CEE-SP in 2019.
