Introduction to the MBBS Program

The Medical Bachelor & Bachelor of Surgery program (MBBS) at Zhejiang University aims to provide students with extensive medical knowledge and a solid foundation for their medical career. The program is innovative and of high quality, with a strong focus on helping students acquire the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the medical field.

Program Overview

• The program is one of the 45 universities authorized by the Ministry of Education in China to offer the MBBS program.
• Students come from over 50 countries, including the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, India, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Iran, Egypt, Malaysia, Pakistan, Mauritius, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Tanzania, New Zealand, and more.
• The program is authenticated by Medical Councils of Mauritius, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and is registered on Faimer.
• The program has been in operation since 2006 and has over 1400 students.

Program Structure

The MBBS program is a 6-year program, consisting of:

• Pre-med (1 year)
• Pre-clinic (2.5 years)
• Clinic internship/clerkship (2.5 years)
