The program in question is the "生物化学实验乙" (Biochemistry Experiment B) course, offered by the 浙江大学生物学国家级实验教学示范中心 (Zhejiang University Biology National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center).

Course Description

• The course is a professional foundation course (required) for students in the College of Agriculture.
• It adopts a hybrid teaching approach, combining online and offline learning.
• The offline experiments include:
  • Basic comprehensive series experiments, focusing on the extraction, separation, purification, detection, and property identification of bioactive substances (proteins and enzymes), as well as the extraction and enzymatic cleavage of nucleic acids.
  • Autonomous experiment design and practice, which includes topic selection, opening reports, experimental practice, and closing reports.

Course Objectives

Through this course, students are expected to:

• Systematically master the basic principles, methods, and techniques of biochemistry experiments.
• Develop good experimental habits and the ability to systematically analyze scientific problems.
• Possess initial experiment design and completion capabilities.
